About Me

Hello there, I'm Su Fen!

I'm an Entrepreneur in Residence at HVF Labs where I mainly work on product, UI/UX design, and data analysis.

At HVF, I'm currently working on building a marketplace that will enable people to buy consumer electronics that can be upgraded or returned at any time and for any reason. Prior to this, I've had the most amazing opportunity to work on projects and companies in the consumer fintech space, including consumer leasing, alternative credit scoring, and long term care insurance.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away... I dropped out of Princeton in '15 to found a startup, shuttered it, and eventually went back and graduated with a major in Chemical & Biological Engineering and double minors in East Asian Studies and Finance. I also was Assistant Art Editor at the Nassau Literary Review and played for the polo team.

🔥 Passions 🔥 getting lost in new places, cooking, Near Eastern archaeology, retro video games, playing the guitar, and riding my motorcycle around the Bay Area.

Superpotato

A simple but powerful personal assistant that helps you remember, manage, and grow your social network.

Superpotato integrates with email, sms, and chat apps and consolidates your contacts into one place. More than just the usual birthday reminder, the Superpotato A.I. keeps track of all your relationships and notifies you when it seems like you’re about to lose touch with family, friends, or business associates.

I designed in Figma and built the website in React. Currently working with a team of three talented engineers on the mobile app and backend.

Plex Remote Control

Simplified remote management of your Plex Media Server - don't get yelled at by your friends for letting the server go down!

Monitors for PMS app crashes and keeps you notified via SMS. Automatically restarts PMS app upon detecting a crash. Best of all, it even lets you manually start and stop your PMS app by simply texting it SMS commands.
